Infrastructure Engineer

At WilsonHCG, we are working with one of the world's largest defense contracting companies. A U.S. government DOD - security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. THESE ARE DIRECT-HIRE POSITIONS, NOT CONTRACT ROLES. Job Summary: We are looking for Infrastructure DevOps Engineers (Mid, Senior, and Principal) who would be a key contributor to supporting our government Customer's program platform environment operation and design. Description for DevOps Engineers:
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with the deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of DevOps solutions.
You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs.
You will assist with the integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare.
You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments.
You will guide resource allocation & utilization.
You will assist engineers with DevOps tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices.
Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days. Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation (CKA certified if possible)
Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible.
Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket). What We Offer:
