Job Description: ITEC is hiring Cloud Infrastructure Engineers with strong Linux and AWS skills to join our growing commercial cloud team. If you're experienced with deploying applications in a hybrid cloud, have a solid background in vanilla Kubernetes, and excel in recommending approaches and automation, we want you. Job Responsibilities: Ensure the maintenance and enhancement of Kubernetes clusters within commercial clouds, focusing on incident prevention and efficient cloud infrastructure management.
Guide clients through Kubernetes development and testing, facilitating a seamless transition to operational deployment.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, actively participating in operational tasks and responsibilities to bridge the gap between development and IT operations.
Required Skills: Proficient across diverse Linux system architectures, with a focus on Amazon Linux and RHEL 9.
Extensive hands-on experience in managing containers within Kubernetes pods.
Demonstrated capability in creating, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
Effective multitasker, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring streamlined project delivery.
Strong communication skills, facilitating productive technical discussions with both team members and clients.
Expertise in patching, vulnerability management, and conducting compliance scans.
Familiarity with change management tools, particularly Puppet/Hiera.
In-depth understanding of CI/CD processes, encompassing the maintenance of code and containers, for example, in Gitlab and Harbor.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, coupled with proficiency in BASH and Python scripting.
Comfortable and adept at working with collaborative platforms such as Confluence and Jira.
