We seek a skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team in protecting our organization's critical information assets and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be key in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to our internal information technology (IT) systems and networks. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security architecture, and the ability to implement and maintain robust security solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using various cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and network traffic analyzers).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies per industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into systems, applications, and processes throughout their lifecycle.
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and develop comprehensive incident response plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support for security-related projects and initiatives.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees and stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices to improve the organization's security posture continually.
