Infor (Finance) Functional Analyst

The ERP Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting the configuration, implementation, and ongoing management of the financial aspects of the Infor M3 CloudSuite Distribution ERP for Global Merchandise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts including the use of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) within an ERP System (Infor M3 preferred). They will be familiar with establishing accounting rules, setting up charts of accounts, Fixed Assets Module (FAM) functions, and executing financial management concepts. Additionally, they should be comfortable with ensuring the configuration supports financial control requirements. Along with a deep financial acumen, the successful candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of business processes, data management, familiarity with Infor M3 technology, an ability to tackle problem-solving, and outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Apply understanding of Business Analysis principles to elicit, understand, and document financial requirements. This may include facilitation of meetings and workshops
- Translate user requirements into feasible financial options within the ERP and communicate these options back to stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements
- Develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, and assist in the development of financial function design specifications, including workflow, validation, and logic requirements
- Understand and document process flows, integration points, forms, and workflow requirements impacting financial areas of responsibility
- Configure Infor M3 as per financial requirements under supervision and perform unit testing
- Analyze financial business challenges, objectives and assist in developing 'as is'/'to be' processes
- Collaborate with the Agile Scrum team to clarify financial vision, scope, and capabilities
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to financial business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the project team to secure commitments related to financial deliverables and maintain accountability
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and accountability
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above adequately. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Five years minimum experience with configuring, implementing, and supporting Infor M3 or similar ERP systems preferred
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger ERP module experience required
- Exposure to or understanding of Agile/Scrum teams
- Some experience with systems development lifecycle planning, cost estimation, and requirements gathering preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and diagraming tools such as Microsoft Visio
