Spring Hills Post-Acute Matawan is a 130-bed Skilled Nursing Facility that offers ventilator care, sub-acute and long term care.
The Infection Preventionist is responsible for running the facilities Infection Prevention program. This includes all tracking of infectious disease, staff education related to infection prevention, tracking of staff and resident vaccinations, communication with local and state health departments, keeping up-to-date at all times with applicable guidance from CDC, CMS, DOH, etc., and other duties as assigned.
Must have a valid NJ RN or LPN. Must have infection control experience and have completed or be willing to complete the CDC online course in infection control. CIC preferred. This is a full-time salaried management position. Hours will generally by 8-4 Monday-Friday but there will be times where staying later is needed to complete work, see the 3-11/11-7 shifts, etc., and there may be times where the IP is called in after hours / weekends in the event of an emergency and/or state visit.
