Responsibilities of an Infant / Toddler Teacher include: Co-lead a classroom of eight infant or toddlers Work closely as a teaching team to individualize the curriculum to meet the children's needs Support children's social and emotional needs Complete developmental assessments and screenings Complete home visits (twice per year) and parent teacher conferences Work as a teaching team to complete parent/teacher conference and home visits Encourage and support parent involvement in the classroom Create a safe and healthy learning environment Supervise the safety of the children in care Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner NOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. CDA (Child Development Associates) OR PDIS Level II (with ECE 111) Ability to work full time work week, Monday through Friday, occasional evening meetings Other preferred qualifications; Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, or Somali (a plus) Experience with the Montessori philosophy (a plus) Don't quite meet these requirements?
