Our client is a nationally renowned business that has been around for over 50 years, providing a unique service for a handful of industries and companies throughout the US. Their HQ in NW OH is state-of-the-art with the type of equipment they use to provide this unique service. Due to immense growth over the past year, they have been expanding their workforce and are now looking to hire an Industrial Safety Specialist
Main duties of the Safety Specialist include:
Work directly with the EH&S Manager on developing new safety procedures/strategies throughout the facility
Ensure the plant is adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and standards
Help enhance the plants Process Safety program
Conduct plant safety inspections
Aid in hazardous waste procedures and ensure strict environmental regulations are met
Qualifications include:
BS or AS degree in a Safety or Environmental field
Strong OSHA experience
Experience working in an industrial setting
Ability to travel regionally 50-75%
