Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues including but not limited to PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
3. Troubleshooting complex machinery issues using a variety of tools and techniques.
4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Documenting all performed work and machinery status in a detailed and accurate manner.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and workplace policies.
7. Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and enhance productivity.
8. Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of industry advancements and improve job performance.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in the engineering industry.
2. Proven expertise in machine repair, troubleshooting, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
3. A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as an ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting issues.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Physical stamina and strength, as the role involves lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
8. A relevant technical certification or diploma is preferred.
