Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Industrial Maintenance Technician III for our 3rd shift team in our fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is designed for a professional who has a deep understanding of industrial maintenance and has a proven track record in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing all equipment in our facility to minimize downtime and keep our operations running smoothly. This position will require occasional lifting of heavy objects, extended work hours, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to brakes/clutches, pumps, mechanical drive components, pneumatics, and V-belt systems.
2. Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for all staff.
3. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
4. Collaborate effectively with other team members to troubleshoot and solve problems.
5. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
6. Document all maintenance work performed and keep a record of all materials used.
7. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as needed for equipment repairs and parts replacement.
8. Assist in training other maintenance personnel in preventive maintenance of the equipment as needed.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to optimize maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing facility and 10 years of experience in maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of basic terms of maintenance, brakes/clutches, pump maintenance, mechanical drive components, pneumatics, V-belt maintenance, Industrial Maintenance Safety, Bearings/Lubrication, Industrial Maintenance Practice, Couplings & Motors, Pipefitting & Steam, Hydraulics, Measurements & Machine tool practices.
4. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs on occasion and up to 40lbs regularly.
5. Availability to work occasional extended hours and occasional weekends.
6. Able to effectively work within a team as well as independently.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
10. Familiarity with basic hand tools and common industrial equipment.
11. 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
