Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems, as well as managing a team of maintenance technicians. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems


- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed


- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner


- Manage the repair and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented


- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections


- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance operations - Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency


Skills:


To be successful in this role, the Maintenance Manager should possess the following skills:


- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals


- Experience in facilities management and maintenance management - Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team


- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting


- Ability to fabricate or repair equipment using various tools and techniques


- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English


- Familiarity with logic controllers and other automated systems is preferred
