SHIFT:
5am - 3:30pm Mon-Friday
PAY RATE:Starting pay is $26 - $27/hour depending on experience.
SUMMARY:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical duties for preventative and emergency equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience will include equipment installation, optimization, trouble-shooting and repair.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:- Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during production
- May repair or produce parts using welders, drill presses, and other shop equipment
- Assemble, install or repair electrical or electronic devices, machinery or equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality
- Maintains and updates equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files.
- Assure safe work practices, and company policies are adhered to at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:- Must read electrical schematics
- Must have solid electrical experience 240v 3 phase and 480v 3 phase
- Must have solid working knowledge of PLS's
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of industrial mechanics including gears, belts, sheaves, bearings, couplings, and drive lines
- Understanding of pneumatic, and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and solenoids
- Understanding of low voltage controls and relay logic
- Knowledge of basic welding and fabrication
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Ability to perform tasks under varying conditions (i.e. dust, oil, grease, hot and humid conditions, noise)
- Graduates of industrial, and/or electrical technology programs preferred
