Industrial Electrician

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN Irving Forest Products, Inc, a growing company on the leading edge of technology in the sawmill industry. We are currently seeking Industrial Electrician for future opportunities. We are looking for safety oriented, energetic individuals to join our team. Qualifications: Education Required: Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or an equivalent apprenticeship Years of Experience preferred: 2-5 years of experience in an industrial setting Strong troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls, power distribution (high and low voltage), programmable logic controllers and variable frequency drives is essential Ability to work rotating shift Previous sawmill experience is considered as asset Ability to work independently or part of a team a must Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all site electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment Installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in the sawmill processes What We Offer: This position offers a competitive wage and an excellent benefits package.
