Job Description:
The ARM Group is looking to hire an " Industrial Electrician " for our growing client located in Aurora, IL.

and Midnight Shift
Basic Minimum Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of on-the-job experience as an industrial electrician.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, installation, and repair of pneumatic/electrical instrumentation, power distribution, and control/power wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and the national electrical code.
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC drives and motors, PLC's, sensors, and control devices.
- Familiarity with various Servo/Stepper/Custom drives systems used on existing equipment.
- Competence in ethernet/RS232/RS485/Modbus+/DeviceNet communications for troubleshooting, diagnosing, programming, and repairing malfunctions.
- Experience working with mechanical components and systems.
- Possession of basic standard and metric hand tools.
- Ability to operate shop equipment such as grinders, belt sanders, drill press, band saws, and hydraulic press.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience in collaborating with Production Personnel to implement minor operational changes in Control Systems.
- Ability to use the Internet for obtaining manuals, information, and remote support.
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
- Experience with Hydraulic Systems, Cylinders, Pumps, Valves, etc.
- Familiarity with piping systems.
- Experience in rebuilding and overhauling packaging equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to perform various activities including walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling moderate weights.
- Work environment includes internal and external plant settings with exposure to noise, dust, odors, weather conditions, and confined spaces.
