Our Company BrightSpring Health Services Overview We are searching for a Corporate Income Tax Senior who will assist the Income Tax Supervisor in the overall tax compliance and reporting functions of the Company and its entities. The Corporate Tax Senior will have primary day-to-day responsibility for assisting in the preparation of tax related reporting of the Company and its entities. This will include responsibility for federal, state, and local returns, assistance with preparation of the income tax provision, coordination with the legal department on annual reporting requirements and integration related to mergers/acquisitions. Responsibilities Maintains relationship and exchange of information with external service providers on the federal, state, local and international income tax compliance co-sourcing process (including estimated payments and extensions) for the Company, Operating Partnerships and our various subsidiaries Assists Income Tax Supervisor in the preparation of income tax provision calculations for the Company and its subsidiaries under ASC 740 Gathers data to support M-1s and other information for the preparation of the federal and state/local income tax returns prepared by co-sourced service provider Responds to inquiries from tax authorities and assist with audits as necessary Stays abreast of United States tax law and compliance changes by monitoring tax periodicals and accounting firm publications Seeks and implement opportunities to modernize and streamline tax processes Assists with special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelors degree required CPA/CPA Candidate Minimum 4-5 years in tax compliance and reporting roles Experience working for a public accounting firm is preferred Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance Ability to effectively present complex state and local tax information to decision makers and non-financial audience Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task Knowledge of tax accounting principles and experience dealing with and reporting book/tax differences Results oriented, with a high bias for action, a strong sense of ownership/accountability and experience working in a high-change environment Attention to detail and effective communication skills both written and verbal About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services is a leading provider of complementary home and community-based pharmacy and health services for complex populations in need of chronic and/or specialized care.
