We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, attending hearings, providing legal advice, and representing clients in complex immigration cases. This role requires a deep understanding of immigration law, superior negotiation skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration removal defense, legal research, and client counseling.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in immigration removal proceedings, asylum interviews, citizenship interviews, and other immigration matters.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients regarding all aspects of immigration law.
  • Conduct legal research to support client cases and stay updated on changes in immigration law.
  • Prepare and submit legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and appeals.
  • Negotiate with opposing attorneys, judges, and immigration officials.
  • Conduct client counseling and provide legal advice on immigration issues.
  • Manage case files and maintain client relations.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
  • Analyze legal issues, develop legal strategies, and prepare legal cases.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all operations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney or similar role.
  • Proven experience with immigration removal defense.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration law and legal procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficient in preparing legal documents and pleadings.
  • Experience in conducting hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Excellent client counseling and management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
