Axient - DEFENSE Overview Axient is seeking a Hypersonics Project Manager to join our team in Tullahoma TN. Responsibilities Position will be responsible for leading and supporting a wide range of activities associated with the nations's Hypersonics program including serving as the Lead Developmental Test Organization and/or the Executing Testing Organization (ETO) PM. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Facilitating customer meetings and documenting discussions/decisions. Supporting program needs associated with preparation and review of specific documentation, such as plans, presentations, schedules, and other project- and test-related materials. Coordinating testing requirements with the client or customer. Analyzing program cost and schedule performance and determining the effect of current performance on overall program schedule and resource requirements. Analyzing program acquisition strategies and determining the cost benefit(s), if any, of integrating acquisition requirements. Maintaining contract deliverable status to ensure integration of receipt or non-receipt into related schedule information. Attending meetings/conferences with Government personnel to gather information to support test requirements. Tracking and reporting on action items resulting from meetings, training, and other activities, and preparing and delivering technical reports. Providing independent assessments of Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning, T&E execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting in order to iteratively evaluate and report on approved test requirements. Qualifications Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD. OR, BA/BS degree, and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD. OR, 20 years of directly-related experience, 10 of which must be in the DoD. Previous experience supporting the Air Force Test Center (AFTC) and Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) highly desirable, specifically efforts relating to support of DoD aircraft weapon systems including managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders and to interface and communicate well with Government customer. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient user of MS Office applications. Must exhibit dedication to achieving the highest standards of quality. Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
