Priorities for the Staff Accountant role include:
- Preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliation, and analysis
- Reviewing and maintaining the General ledger
- Handle payroll processing
- Reconciliations
- Research and resolve issues and discrepancies
- Partner across organization on any ad hoc projects
- Process full cycle Accounts Payable, including entering, matching, reviewing vouchers, and GL coding
Ideal skills and experience for Staff Accountant applicants:
- 3+ years experience in payroll, AP, and working in general ledger
- Strong research and reconciliation
- Collaborator and great communicator
- ADP usage is a PLUS
