Job Details

As our Survey Project Manager, you will be responsible for staff management and project oversight across various areas, including: Transportation Design, Right of Way Engineering and Mapping, design surveys, construction, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Boundary Resolution, Records of Survey, Legal Description preparation, and GPS Control Surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management, technical oversight, and strategic direction, while accomplishing the strategic marketing plan objectives and achieving performance

and profitability targets
  • Prepare scopes of work with associated fees and schedules, negotiate contracts including additional services, prepare presentations, proposals, respond to RFP's

and RFQ's, and assist with recruiting, retention, and interviews
  • Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff members, fostering their professional growth
  • Cultivate and sustain industry client relationships within the Southern California market

Qualifications/Education:

5+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey experience
3+ years' experience in Project Management is highly desirable
Proficient in industry standard software and management tools
Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Professional Engineering (PE) License
