Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll with precision and timeliness.
- Stay updated on labor law changes for seamless compliance.
- Provide insights for system upgrades and process improvements.
- Handle confidential payroll matters, resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and file reports for government agencies.
- Manage job costing and maintain plant FA records.
- Collaborate with auditors for accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of payroll-focused accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Federal and State Labor Laws.
- Strong communication skills.
- CPP certification and ADP/Great Plains experience (a plus).
- Ability to interpret Union Contracts.
