The role involves a combination of tasks related to legal paperwork, tax return preparations, Medicaid applications, financial statement preparations, and estate administration. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and process legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Manage the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
3. Handle Medicaid applications, including gathering necessary documents, completing the application process, and following up on application status.
4. Prepare financial statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the client's financial status.
5. Administer estates, including managing estate assets, paying estate debts, and distributing assets to beneficiaries.
6. Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and address queries or concerns.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations related to tax return preparation, Medicaid applications, financial statement preparation, and estate administration.
8. Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of two years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
3. Strong experience in preparing tax returns, processing Medicaid applications, preparing legal documents, and administering estates.
4. Proficiency in preparing financial statements.
5. Strong Excel skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience using Excel for data management and analysis.
6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to tax return preparation, Medicaid applications, financial statement preparation, and estate administration.
