Salary: $70,000 - $1100,000

Job Details
  • Create new designs and improve existing designs with the result of producing high-quality products
  • Address inquiries for new product development and enhancements initiated by the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Evaluate feasibility and functional requirements through independent analysis, research, and customer interactions.
  • Generate new products in adherence to the Product Development Process (PDP).

-Conduct comprehensive market research to formulate design concepts and project proposals.
  • Present design reviews and manage concurrent product development projects for timely market delivery.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
  • Liaise frequently with internal and external customers via telephone, email, and in person to understand their needs.
  • Fabricate working models for demonstration purposes.
  • Utilize computer-aided design for modeling concepts and creating final production documentation packages.
  • Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Include Plan For Every Part (PFEP), pull systems, Kanban, etc., in daily operations.
  • Provide status updates on product development and design concepts.
  • Coordinate operational metrics to ensure vital performance targets.
  • Deliver product training sessions for new employees.
  • Collaborate effectively using Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of mechanical design engineering experience
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
