HW Test Technician

Overview We need an individual to serve as a technician for the team, and work alongside engineers to bring up new test infrastructure, maintain current test setups, execute tests, perform basic analysis for validity of test data, and troubleshoot when things go wrong to find root causes from technically complex systems. Key Qualifications Excellent debugging skills Experience building and troubleshooting mechatronics, robotics and/or electronic systems (e.g. sensors, cameras, DAQs, GPIO signals) Ability to look at logs and find root cause of failures/issues High level of comfort using terminal on MacOS Proficient in Python programming Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in data visualization - Tableau preferred Ability to break down problems into smaller issues and resolve them. Strong time management and organization skills Keen attention to detail Ability to keep up with fast-paced environment Ability to keep up with changing priorities Ability to multitask, context switch and deliver results under competing priorities Motivated to understand how the automation works to be able to resolve bugs. Basic knowledge of wireless networks and Bluetooth. Interest in robotics and automation Deliverables All automation infrastructure runs smoothly, and issues that arise are root-caused and addressed correctly and in a timely manner. All AirPods bugs caught with automation must be filed and All experiments in the queue are performed in a timely manner. All lab management tasks are performed in a timely manner. Clear, effective and timely communication with the team Requests for support from the team are handled in a timely basis, and correctly (based on any available instructions and attention to detail) Manage Tableau dashboards Education BS in EE.
