The company manufacturers large, industrial HVAC units and is looking for someone to help install these units 50% of the time and do administrative work at the office 50% of the time (scheduling experience would be helpful). The career progression would be a Field Service Technician. If they moved into the Field Service role, they would get a pay increase and travel would be 75%+ nationally.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Field Service Technicians to streamline daily tasks.
  • Take ownership of document control, ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.
  • Manage the filing of reports and documentation in a systematic and accessible manner.
  • Actively participate in mentorship opportunities, including traveling to job sites to gain practical experience (up to 25% of working time).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the support function.
  • Maintain a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the HVAC industry
  • Previous experience in an Administrative or Support role is a plus
  • Microsoft Office
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Attention to detail

Must-Have:

  • Must be okay with 25% travel.
  • Previous experience with HVAC Maintenance
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have:

  • Industrial electrical experience could work in lieu of HVAC experience.
  • PLC Experience
  • Allen Bradley experience
  • Fabrication & Welding experience
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Scheduling experience
