Express Employment is on the hunt for qualified HVAC Technicians for La Crosse's premier heat exchange/refrigeration fabrication plant. This company offers great benefits, room for growth, and great trainers.
Wage & Hours:
1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm, $21/hour
Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Wiring of commercial and industrial HVAC units
- Troubleshooting any wiring or piping issues, and communicating with electrical engineers to make diagram changes or to order new parts
- Piping/brazing
- Communicate with suppliers and manage inventory in both electrical and refrigeration rooms
- Manage and organize workload based on due date/shipment date and Gantt chart
- Effectively communicate progress and issues during meetings with HVAC and factory leads
- Final testing of HVAC unit and documentation before shipment
- Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements include:
- Associate degree in HVAC required along with EPA Certification
- Ability to read wiring and piping diagrams
- Must have brazing and piping experience along with final testing of HVAC units
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% for startup and service work after hire on and full training
- Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75lbs throughout shift
- Previous experience in HVAC controls, DDC, and BAS is required
