Job Description

The Encore Boston Harbor HVAC Technician - AHU/FCU is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems to include: heating, air conditioning, water heaters, chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems. This includes, but is not limited to: maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adheres to all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards.

Actively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.

Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced within the department.

Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction.

Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.

Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.

Effectively manages internal and external guest relations, which may require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Responsible for addressing guest and team member issues as appropriate.

Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.

Provides service, preventative maintenance, repair, or installation of systems/equipment.

Performs layout accurately for system, fixture, and equipment installations.

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and problem solves of HVAC systems/and equipment.

Identifies, repairs or replaces needs to maintain equipment and systems.

Orders equipment and supplies to maintain inventory; ensuring availability of items when needed.

Performs testing of systems for code, specification, and contract or service agreement compliance.

Responds to emergency situations promptly for the purpose of resolving immediate heating/cooling/plumbing problems

Prepares documentation accurately and timely.

Maintaining appropriate levels inventory of tools.

Ensuring equipment startups are completed accurately and in a timely manner; provides adequate information to end user.

Installs all systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.

Tests equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.

Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.

Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.

Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
