Summary Job Summary MiTek is currently searching for a self-driven, self-motivated individual HVAC Design Project Manager to join the team. This role is responsible for communicating with clients and builders and keeping them apprised of current job status. This role is responsible for being the liaison between clients and the MiTek software solutions team to help review content for projects. This role requires a strong understanding and experience in HVAC design, quality assurance and project management. Job Responsibilities & Requirements Current day to day duties would consist of the following: Communicating with clients/builders keeping them up to date on job status Reviewing floor plans and software files as needed per project Scheduling project timelines and communicating project details and goals Finding solutions to situational issues that may arise Oversee, delegate and QC work of HVAC Design Team Prior experience with Architectural floor plans as it pertains to single family and townhome projects. Frame knowledge is a plus with both stick frame and truss layout. Basic knowledge of IRC and IBC codes and building science. Experience with Right-Suite and AutoCAD is a high priority with the current client needs that we are experiencing. Qualified Candidates will also have the following traits: Team Player Great Communicator Customer Services oriented Trustworthy Not Afraid to learn new Technology and software Education: Bachelors - College graduate or equivalent; Construction Management or Engineering background preferable. Experience Reading and Understanding Architectural Plans Knowledge of residential single family, townhome construction and building thermal science (ACCA Manual J, S, D and T) Right-Suite Universal knowledge AutoCAD and Autodesk Architecture knowledge is a plus Experience: 3+ Yrs experience as Project Manager, or Construction Management MiTek is an E-Verify and Drug and Tobacco-Free Workplace.
