Overview of the Human Resources Supervisor role:
- Participate as a member of the Management Team in bringing HR Operations perspective to all strategic initiatives of the organization.
- Participate in manager meetings, ensuring that the executive team is engaged in relevant HR Operations conversations and decisions, and is provided with accurate and relevant reports and materials.
- Stay informed of recruiting and onboarding planning and functions such as office space, technology, and safety, etc.
- Works with third party administrators to ensure the companies offer a robust insurance package for all levels of operations and divisions that are renewed annually.
- Directs the performance review program and yearly salary increases to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within each organization and division.
- Develop and maintain written documentation for office and HR procedures that may be applicable or necessary as per labor laws. Ensures there are standard operating procedures for the different processes in HR for the ease of cross-training.
- Assists executives or management team in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures. Responds to inquiries regarding policies and procedures and provides training as requested.
Preferred qualifications for the Human Resources Supervisor:
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Excellent communicator, ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Expertise in state, federal and local laws and policies pertaining to human resources management.
