Our client is looking for a Human Resources Manager part-time.

Company Overview:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Human Resource Manager to oversee all facets of HR functions. They are a mission-driven organization who places great emphasis on fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring employee satisfaction.

Human Resources Role Overview: Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Manager will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to manage people operations effectively. This pivotal role involves spearheading full-cycle recruiting processes, providing guidance on retention strategies, enhancing onboarding and offboarding programs, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and industry standards. The HR Manager will also play a vital role in managing compensation programs, maintaining employee records, and fostering employee wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting processes and define staffing needs in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Offer guidance and coaching to managers on retention, compensation, employee relations, and HR policies.
  • Manage and enhance onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Cultivate a culture of community and trust within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to administer benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and oversee the development of employee handbooks and policies.
  • Manage compensation benchmarking and performance review programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll processing.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Lead employee wellness initiatives and social events.

Desired Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience in outsourced payroll processing.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all employees.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of TruPay payroll processing is a plus.

This part-time position requires 25 hours per week onsite at our office in South Bend, Indiana.
