The Opportunity:

As the hands-on and go-to HR solution for TrueAccord (TAC), you will help shape a thriving workplace empowering talent through innovative programs, and enhancing leadership effectiveness through consultation and coaching.

Your duties include partnering to develop a strategic HR agenda, advising senior management, implementing strategies to support business goals, managing workforce planning, and fostering strong relationships to deeply understand TAC needs.

You will manage complex employee relations, ensure legal compliance, oversee immigration, be point-of-contact for employee questions and concerns, coach managers, and lead improvements, which support employee development and engagement.

This role requires 6+ years in HR, exceptional communication skills, and is onsite at our Lenexa office, with potential for hybrid work in the future. This role is on the TrueML People team and reports to the VP of People.
What You'll Do:
Partner with the broader People Team to develop and drive a strategic HR agenda tailored to the specific needs of your assigned Business Unit (BU).
Operate as a key advisor and coach to senior BU management, providing strategic HR management advice.
Promote, communicate, and implement human resources strategies and initiatives within BU.
Partner with and advise on developing and implementing workforce planning strategies that facilitate the achievement of business goals and enable the cultivation of a high-performing workforce.
Develop strong relationships and an in-depth understanding of business needs while staying abreast of industry best practices to advise on recruitment, staffing, internal mobility, retention, performance, and team member development strategies.
Advise management and leadership on resolving routine and complex employee relations situations.
Reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements relating to HR management.
Manage internal investigations and oversee the immigration process.
Liaise with employees and Leave of Absence partner to support leave administration
Promote utilization of employee self-service tools and connect employees to available resources, including ticketing system and Confluence pages.
Respond to all BU employee questions, concerns and complaints within a timely manner.
Coach managers on performance improvement plans and documentation, and conduct investigations as needed.
Advise on talent identification and proactive performance management, including performance discussions, coaching, counseling, and providing feedback.
Help client groups utilize L&D programs and identify career development and advancement opportunities that meet their individual and team needs.
Own onsite orientation and identity verification.
Develop line managers in their leadership and management skills.
Within the BU, lead process improvements, promoting consistency in application across all subsidiaries.
Oversee HR administration within BU and proactively solution difficult situations.
Coach, support, and provide feedback to managers and leaders within BU on various People & Talent related issues such as employee relations, performance management, recruiting, job analysis, job descriptions, and compensation.
Partner with other People and Engagement teams to deliver seamless human resources processes and programs within BU.
Support leaders in developing robust engagement plans to enhance employee experience within BU.
Act as a change-agent as the organization continues to reshape itself, helping to manage transitions and transform organizational culture.
Advise and assist in developing succession plans for key leadership roles to ensure long-term business continuity.
Additional projects, and other types of initiative support as needed.
Job Requirements:
6+ years in HR with a focus on Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruiting, Compensation, and Workforce Planning.
At least 3 years of experience in a call-center or customer service industry.
Proven track record in managing complex employee relations.
Demonstrated understanding of HR principles, including recruitment, performance management, and compensation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, influence outcomes, and achieve results.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with business unit leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, coaching, empathy, and handling sensitive matters with tact and professionalism.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
Experience engaging with diverse employee groups and adapting communication style to various cultural backgrounds.
Initially onsite with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid role.
Willingness to undertake ad-hoc projects, learn new skills, and commit to task completion.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and make time-sensitive decisions.
