Part-Time HR Generalist

CFS has partnered with a local Non-Profit organization seeking a dedicated Part-time Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws. This role is designed to help provide day to day HR support to all levels of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, on-boarding, retaining of staff
  • Play a key role in hiring staff
  • Post jobs, interview screens, job description creation, pay range verification.
  • Lead on-boarding experience through HR Cloud
  • Help develop activities to engage and retain staff
  • Set up staff training
  • Daily HR support
  • Review, file and retain employee write ups and make appropriate recommendations
  • Support managers if they need HR in the room for a conversation

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR functions such as recruiting and employee relations
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
