Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist include but are not limited to:
- Assists in benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Maintains human resource information system by updating employee records and compiles reports from the database.
- Schedules new-employee orientations; and writes and places advertisements.
- Schedules performance reviews.
- Monitors company trainings, assures all required training is being completed monthly.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations and recommended bet practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assists in planning company sponsored events and outings.
Human Resources Generalist requirements:
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
