AGC Glass Company North America, located in Bellefontaine, Ohio, seeks a self-motivated and energetic Human Resource Administrator to join our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, evaluate, and maintain all personnel records, logs, and databases.
  • Serve as a link between associates and payroll for all aspects of compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in administration of associate benefits and associates to self-management of benefits.
  • Assist coordinators and associates in answering policy and procedure questions and resolving work related problems.
  • Reviews resumes and job applications, phone interview qualified applicants, recommend potential candidates for hire based on knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Assist in the processing of payroll documents, including shift adjusts, payroll changes/corrections, garnishments, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain Attendance programs to include LOA entries, Kronos, Long Term Attendance program, and discipline.
  • Respond to routine requests for information from associates regarding company policies/procedures, benefit related questions, and systems. Assist with new hire benefits election, printing of temporary insurance cards, and accessing payroll direct deposit through ADP.
  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to all Human Resource matters.
  • Assist Human Resource staff with administrative tasks as requested.
  • Supports all departments as directed by collecting and entering data to include but not limited to:
    • Submit REQs in SAP
  • Supports all departments as directed by coordinating meetings, maintaining plant wide postings and communication centers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Self-motivated, energetic with the ability to think outside the norm
  • Must be able to work full-time and overtime as required
  • Excellent interpersonal, associate relations and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have effective planning, data entry and organizational skills
  • Must be able to take and follow directions
  • Must maintain a professional demeanor
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Exhibit strong judgment relating to confidential matters
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
