As an HSE Professional, you will ensure compliance, lead safety initiatives, conduct audits, and drive safety culture. This is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity. Bosch-Charleston has been a producer of innovative products and Mobility Solutions for nearly 50 years. Our facility delivers power & life-saving technology to the automotive market through Gasoline Injection Systems and Electronic Stability Control. The recent addition of e-Motor production will drive the future generations of electric and hybrid vehicles. Required Education Bachelor's degree Required Qualifications 3+ years of health, safety, or environmental experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment Technical experience with driving programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety 2+ years of MS Office experience to include Excel and Word Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications B.S. in Engineering, Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related field Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Professional Engineer, or other related certifications Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHA VPP) Essential Functions Support and drive OSHA VPP culture at the facility Organize and hold safety and health campaigns for the facility Develop/revise health and safety related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementation Develop health and safety related communication, including training, safety alerts, and production review meetings Interact with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with SC OSHA regulations Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirements Assist/lead change management tasks and conduct machine release inspections Assist and lead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bosch Norms Coordinate safety related communication, including training, alerts, and production review meetings Lead/take part in Incident Investigation, facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actions Participate in/lead plant emergency response teams Provide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teams Perform other tasks as assigned Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
