Overview
Lincoln Search Consultants , has been engaged exclusively with our client, a leading global manufacturing company, to assist in their search for a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Romeoville, IL. The HR Manager is a newly created position and will serve as a key business partner, responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. The ideal candidate will be a versatile HR generalist with a proven track record in HR management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and labor regulations.
Responsibilities

•   Develop and implement HR strategies.

•   Act as a liaison between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.

•   Manage the Talent Acquisition function in an effort to attract, hire, and retain top tier employees.

•   Develop and monitor the overall HR strategy for the organization including systems, processes and SOPs.

•   Foster a positive working via strong communication and employee relations.

•   Assess training needs, develop and implement training.

•   Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies throughout human resource management.

•   Manage HR budget

•   Requirements

•   5+ years Generalist experience including 2+ years in a leadership role. Our client will also consider candidates with 3+ years in a Generalist, Senior Generalist, HRBP role and ready to take that next step into leadership.

•   Strong understanding for of HRIS systems and tools.

•   Ability to develop strategy along with leadership skills.

•   Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

•   Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

•   In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

•   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; PHR certification or MBA is a plus.

•   Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
