Job Summary:

The HR Generalist/Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies, with the goal of attracting a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to the organization. As the HR Generalist /Recruiter, you are uniquely positioned to support an employee's full lifecycle through sourcing of candidates, onboarding, new hire orientation and employee retention programs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for employees of all Wesley companies.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • This position is responsible for the full cycle of recruiting; from the requisition, to sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding.

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Manages the offer process including background checks and drug screening when applicable.

  • Works closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure compensation consistency across all companies.

  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resources personnel during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

  • Welcomes newly hired employees and helps manage the onboarding process and new hire orientation, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles, while proactively looking for ways to enhance the experience.

  • Conducts 90 day stay interviews.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Responsible for completing transfer forms and offe r letters for internal changes.

  • Helps manage the off-boarding process and assists with exit interviews.

  • Aids in planning and coordinating employee engagement events.

  • Assists with special projects as assigned by the HR and/or Executive Management team.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets, Google Docs.

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in handling confidential matters with appropriate discretion.

  • Ability to work independently and have a self-starter's attitude.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement & passionate about the candidate experience.

  • Must live within 60 miles of Franklin, TN.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of recruiting/HR experience, including managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.

  • Experience using the ADP Workforce Now recruitment module and applicant tracking system is a plus.


Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm; Friday, 9am - 3pm
