Specific responsibilities include:
Talent Management:
- Partner with the department managers to manage full cycle recruiting responsibilities, maintaining job descriptions and FLSA classifications, delivering pre-hire skills testing, tracking key talent acquisition metrics.
- Drafts and implements recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds.
- Own the new hire onboarding experience (specifically hourly production and contingent workforce positions), ensuring we have a program that excites our new employees, sets them up for success, helps them thrive, and continuously grow within the company.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Employee Experience:
- Oversees the Employee Experience Program (champions the company culture) in partnership with HRM. Responsible for the management and coordination of Employee Experience initiatives, including Employee Engagement surveys and stay interviews.
- Manages and coordinates new and ongoing employee engagement and recommendations for improvement.
- Proactively makes recommendations and suggestions for positive procedure changes, understands, and supports the need for change in work, policies, or procedures especially as they relate to employee experience.
Compliance:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training.
- Work closely with management and employees to provide guidance regarding policies, procedures, state, and federal regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain employee electric files ensuring documents and manuals are kept current, accurate, confidential and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures.
Administrative:
- Manage the annual AAP data collection and reporting process.
- Gain proficiency in payroll administration and processing. Serve as site level back up to HRM for payroll administration
- Perform UKG, HR Administration functions e.g., file management, recruiting, onboarding, and various talent management
- Serves on event committees for employee engagement events.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
