Job Details

Duties/Responsibilities Health & Safety
  • Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
  • Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
  • Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
  • Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
  • Member of Health & Safety Committee
  • Maintain and perform all audits and OSHA reporting
  • Work closely with all levels of the management to ensure compliance through facility
  • Manage all WC cases and claims
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities HR
  • Ability to implement and develop training, orientation, and communication programs
  • Experience with time and attendance software, payroll, and benefits.
  • Knowledgeable of all HR policies and procedures, and answer employee questions
  • Work closely with internal divisions, HR director, department heads and employees to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws and company values
  • HR generalist assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, analyzing HR data, and handling employee relations, safety, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies; ISO-9000, ISO-9001, ITAF, etc.
  • Proficient in technology used for payroll, time and attendance, and benefits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, PPT, excel and similar software.
