Houseman

Job Summary:
The Houseman at SpringHill Suites Cheraw is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's public spaces and ensuring a positive guest experience. This individual will be working closely with every department in the hotel. Ranging from Engineering to Housekeeping. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires an individual who is detail-oriented, hardworking, and has excellent customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $10 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all hotel public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, and meeting rooms
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping all surfaces
- Removing trash and recycling from public areas
- Stocking and organizing supplies in public restrooms
- Reporting any maintenance or upkeep issues to the appropriate departments
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and events
- Responding to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Completing any other tasks or projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or General Manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication, time-management, and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to uphold the highest level of professionalism and maintain a clean and neat appearance
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
