Hospitalist Physician

We are looking for day hospitalist physician board certified in IM to join our Hospital Medicine Team. This position is be can either be part-time or full-time. At Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center our focus is on providing patient-centered care in a clinical setting offering opportunities for professional enrichment and leadership. We are a critical access hospital in Vermont and a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System, which provides our clinicians with the resources to better integrate seamless, local care for patients. Our a team of skilled professionals are committed to providing high quality care to our surrounding community. The day hospitalist responsibilities will be to round on acute/swing patients, to admit from ED or from outside transfers, to provide medical consultation for other services, supervise the Hospitalist team advanced practice provider, and to respond to medical emergencies. There is no ICU. Procedures or ventilation management is not required. Benefits include health insurance, malpractice insurance, CME allowance, and more.
