CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Active PA License DEA Required: Yes Board Status: Board Certified Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 2 Years SHIFT/SCHEDULE INFORMATION M-Sun 7a-7p No Call Full-time hospitalist physician to work 7 on 7 off schedule at a small community hospital. BILL RATES Hourly: $210 JOB INFORMATION Patient mix 100% Adult 90% Medical 10% Surgical Typical Day: 7 on 7 off daylight schedule manages rounding on patients with one other physician and an advanced practice provider. Physician works from 7a-7p. Provider is expected to cover rapids, manage codes on their patients, and it is an open ICU in which the physician will cross-manage with the pulmonary team that is there during the day. Provider will not work solo Other Specialties onsite: General Surgery, Critical Care (7a-7p), Tele-Nephrology, Pulmonologist in House 7a-7p to help cover ICU, Cath Lab and GI There is no separate admission team, the rounder split all work. This is a very small community hospital. APP/Mid-Level Coverage Available: Yes Procedures: Not applicable for Hospitalist EMR: Paragon-McKesson Typical cases: Medical Management of COPD, CHF, etc anything highly acute is transferred Time to Credential: 2-3 Months Avg.
