Hospitalist physician employment in New York : Bronx, New York, Academic Hospitalist Job

•  Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible internal medicine hospitalist
•  If not board certified, hospital guidelines require physicians to be board certified within a year of finishing residency
•  Days only
•  Work Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
•  Residents manage all patients
•  Youd supervise, sign notes, teach residents/medical students
•  Nights are covered by residents theyd call you if they encountered a problem
•  5-6 patients are discharged per day; 5-6 new admissions per day
•  22 bed floor
•  Closed ICU
•  No procedures
•  All subspecialties on site
•  Patients are mostly cardiovascular/telemetry
•  Youd provide weekend call phone call coverage 1:4 weekends
•  Research opportunities available, if desired
•  Work with a residency program
•  H1 visa candidates welcome H1B cap exempt location
•  EMR: AllScripts
•   Organization Information:
