Hospital Seeks to Employ Psychiatrist for New Behavioral Health Unit in the Allentown, PA area

Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist for an employed Medical Director position. A new 16-bed Behavioral Health Unit treating older adults is scheduled to open shortly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to clinical rounding services, hospital consults and medical-administrative duties.

Physicians with 2+ years' experience working in an inpatient unit setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. A competitive recruitment package is available.

Hospital has 238 licensed beds and is located in Lehigh Valley. City is 70 miles from New York City and 60 miles from Philadelphia. Shore points in New Jersey are 2 hours away and the Pocono Mountain Ski Area is accessible in less than an hour.
