Hospice Medical Social Worker

Hospice Medical Social Workers are licensed professionals with specialized training who offer support to patients and their families during end-of-life stages.
Collaborate closely with medical teams to arrange treatments, services, and resources that can enhance the patient's quality of life.
Provide extensive support tailored to the specific needs of the patient and their family, encompassing advocacy, problem-solving, attentive listening, and facilitating access to resources.
Offer counseling and referrals to valuable services.
Assist families in managing the emotional strain of a terminal illness and coordinate care for those facing financial or other challenges resulting from the illness.
Qualifications:
Hold a Master's Degree in Social Work.
Previous experience as a social worker is required.
Must possess reliable transportation.
