PromptCare is looking for a Homecare Technician - driver to join our Warehouse & Distribution Team in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time position, 40hrs per week. Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm and on-call rotating schedule. The HC Tech will cover the areas of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Huntsville & Memphis.


Job Summary

A Homecare Technician is responsible for the smooth day-to-day activities, delivering of medical supplies, delivery/set-up, and pick-up of medical equipment in accordance with all State and Federal regulations and accrediting body standards.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Driver's license. Clean driving record for 3 years
  • HME equipment repair experience preferred
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good verbal/communication/organizational skills
  • Strong technical skills with a good knowledge base

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles with all required equipment, medications, oxygen and supplies into truck in a timely manner before leaving the office
  • Correctly and effectively delivers HME, medications, oxygen and supplies
  • Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed on a rotating on-call basis
  • Daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Other duties assigned
