Salary: $35-40/hr
Join our Dallas Team: Seeking a skilled Home Health Nurse with ventilator experience to provide dedicated care for an ALS patient in a one-on-one setting.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to an ALS patient at home, with a focus on ventilator support and management.
- Administer medications, manage feeding tubes, and other medically necessary procedures according to the care plan.
- Monitor patient's health condition, manage ventilator settings, and respond to respiratory and other emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with family members to ensure they are informed and supported in patient care.
- Ensure that all healthcare equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Educate patients and families on ALS care and ventilator management, enhancing their ability to provide care.
Qualifications:
- RN or LVN/LPN degree with extensive experience in ventilator support, particularly in a home health setting.
- Active RN or LVN/LPN license in Texas.
- ️ Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to travel to patient's home in Dallas.
- Proficient in EMR and healthcare software.
- Committed to providing compassionate and skilled care to patients with ALS.
Additional Information:
- Job Types: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Schedule: Day shifts.
