Description
Hilton East is offering a Paid 3 week/75hr Home Health Aide Training Program (HHATP) to individuals who are caring and dedicated to providing quality home care to our patients. The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for personal care and assisting with activities of daily living with clients in their homes. All employees must be committed to the concepts, philosophy, and mission of Angels In Your Home and possess the desire to assist individuals to maximize their independence and reach their fullest potential in their personal residence.
Requirements
- Applicant must have a sympathetic attitude toward care of those in need of services.
- English Proficiency- As communication is essential in the home care setting, applicants must be able to demonstrate a minimum level of English proficiency. This can be assessed through an interview or written test.
- Maturity, emotional and mental stability, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Age- Applicant must be a minimum age of 18 years old at the time of the application.
- Education- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is required.
- Valid photo ID required
- This is a Paid Training starting at $16.55 for the training portion and then bumps to $18HR when hired on with Hilton East as HHA
