New York Home Care is looking for a full-time dynamic Occupational Therapist for our home-based Geriatric cases. This position pays a $110,0000-$115,000.00 starting salary and offers a competitive benefits package. Case coverage on Weekends is currently available upon family approval. Job Description:
Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
Giving advice and providing support for family members.
Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief
Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
Position Qualifications:
Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
