Home Care Attendant

Home Care Attendant maintains a pleasant and safe environment, supervises client activities, assists with activities of daily living, provides emotional support and communicates changes in the clients status to his/her supervisor. Services will be performed in client homes on Greencroft campus and throughout the community at large. PRN, flexibility in hours and shifts. Responsibilities: Interact with clients in a respectful, adult manner. Correct practice basic skills to assist with activities of daily living for the client. Provide reminders for medication. Run errands as requested. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to ready, write and follow instructions. CNA preferred. Valid drivers license with reliable vehicle and proof of insurance. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
