This position can report out of our Heber or Sandy office after the initial 3 month training period in Heber.

What You'll Do:
Analyze and interpret request for proposals (RFP), project specifications, and pricing schedules
Attend pre bid meetings
Define division of responsibilities, draft scope letters, proposals and vendor solicitations
Prepare pre-approval project estimates based on drawings and narrative and general scopes of work, often lacking specific precedence
Perform material, labor, and equipment take-offs and cost analyses to support estimates
Develop weighting criteria for proposal evaluations
Review estimate with operations team and executive team
Prepare and submit proposal documents to client
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division or project management
Work with client on questions and clarifications post bid submission
Assist project team with questions regarding construction and contractual requirements
What You'll Bring:
Degree in associated field preferred
Strong analytical and mathematic skills
Knowledge of design, estimating, construction, finance, and management
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, scaling, legends, etc.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening)
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
Ability to travel as needed
Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
