You'll be based at our brand new site in Wallingford. Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for a physically demanding and rewarding role that involves leading, managing, and motivating small teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As a Class 2 Driver (Removal Operative Driver C2) with Restore Harrow Green, you won't be your typical driver. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including moving, relocating, and installing office furniture and other items internally, to new premises, recycling centres, or via storage. You will also be responsible for driving rigid commercial vehicles up to 18 tons and managing and controlling small moves and projects. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements, promoting our core standards and values, and assisting in the management of external contractors during deliveries. You'll be working 5 days a week, which includes a 7-day rotation. We'll provide your shift schedule two weeks in advance so you can plan accordingly. This role requires you to have flexibility in your working hours with start times varying daily. We do have the occasional night away for our clients, but usually they take us to different cities across the UK, including Scotland, Manchester, Swansea among others. RESPONSIBILITIES Drive rigid Class 2 commercial vehicles Lead, manage, and motivate small teams during relocation projects Maintain compliance with company and legislation requirements, including Waste Transfer Notes and Daily Walk-around checks Promote and uphold company core standards and values Assist in the management of external contractors during delivery Educate, train, and develop other team members, emphasising best practices, quality, and standards Ensure the safe loading and transportation of all furniture and effects Implement extensive property protection measures to ensure the delivery of service levels Ensure that working practices are safe and adhere to company best practice standards ABOUT YOU Full Cat C2 license Drivers CPC IOSH Working Safely or equivalent (desirable) Asbestos Awareness (desirable) BENEFITS Progression opportunities available 20 day holiday rising upon length of service (plus bank holidays) Perks at Work scheme Colleague and Family Support access Life Assurance As the market leader in commercial relocation, Harrow Green undertake business and technology moves for customers of all sizes and sectors as well as corporate residential moves within the UK and internationally.
